These access data include: the name of the website accessed, file, date and time of access, quantity of data transmitted, report of successful access, browser type and version, user's operating system, referrer URL (page previously visited), IP address and requesting provider.

The provider uses the protocol data exclusively for statistical analyses for the purposes of operating and optimising the site and ensuring that it continues to be secure. Having said that, the provider reserves the right to scrutinise the protocol data at a later point in time if there are strong indications leading to reasonable suspicion of unlawful use.

Statistical analysis of visits to this website

When this website or any individual files thereof are accessed, the provider collects, processes and saves the following data: IP address, website from which the file was accessed, name of the file, date and time of access, quantity of data transmitted and report of successful access (so-called web log). The provider uses these access data exclusively in non-personalised form for the continual improvement of his website and for statistical purposes.

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (hereinafter referred to as Google). Google Analytics employs various techniques, among them so-called cookies, which are saved on your computer and enable an analysis to be made of the use of this website by the visitor. The information obtained by Google Analytics about your use of this website is transmitted to servers of Google, which may be operated in countries that are not members of the European Union and possibly not member states of the European Economic Area Agreement either. On activation of the IP anonymisation facility within the Google Analytics tracking code of this website, your IP address will be anonymised by Google prior to transmission. This website uses a Google Analytics tracking code which has been extended by the addition of the operator gat._anonymizeIp(); to ensure that IP addresses can only be recorded in anonymised form (so-called IP masking). On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will utilise this information to evaluate your visit to this website, to compile reports about website activities and to render other services for the website operator such as are associated with the use of the website and the Internet. The IP address transmitted by your browser within the framework of Google Analytics will not be combined with other Google data. Moreover, you can prevent the collection by Google of the data which are generated by the Google cookie and relate to your use of the website (including your IP address), and the processing of those data by Google, by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under the following link (http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de). Cookies

The provider uses cookies in order to make visits to the website more attractive and enable certain functions to be used. So-called 'cookies' are small text files which your browser can download on your computer. This process of downloading a cookie file is also referred to as 'placing a cookie'. You yourself can set your browser in accordance with your own wishes in such a way that you can be informed about the placing of cookies, decide whether to accept them or not on a case-to-case basis, or decide whether to accept or reject them as a matter of basic principle. Cookies can be deployed for various purposes, for example in order to recognise that your PC has already been connected to a given website (persistent cookies) or in order to save sites recently viewed (session cookies). The provider deploys cookies in order to offer you greater user convenience. In order to be able to avail yourself of these convenience functions, you are recommended to allow the acceptance of cookies for this website.

Handling of personal data

Personal data are information with the aid of which a person's identity can be ascertained, i.e. information that can be traced back to the individual concerned. This includes the person's name, e-mail address and telephone number, and data about preferences, hobbies, memberships or websites visited.

Personal data are only collected, used and passed on by the provider if this is permissible by law or if the users consent to the collection of the data.

Contact

When contact is made with the provider, (for example via contact form or e-mail), the information provided by the user is saved for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in case any follow-up questions arise.

Newsletter

With the newsletter, the provider issues information about himself and the products or services he offers.

If a user wishes to receive the newsletter, the provider requires a valid e-mail address, and also some information which allows him to make sure that the user actually is the owner of the e-mail address provided or, as the case may be, that the owner of said address agrees to receipt of the newsletter. No other data are collected. These data are used only for the despatch of the newsletter and not passed on to third parties. When the user registers for the newsletter and subsequently confirms that registration, the provider saves the IP address and the dates of registration and confirmation. Saving these data merely serves as evidence in case a third party abuses an e-mail address by registering for the newsletter without the knowledge of the rightful owner.

Consent to the saving of the data and e-mail address and their use for the despatch of the newsletter can be revoked by the user at any time. Such revocation may be issued via a link in the newsletter itself or by notice sent to one of the above contact facilities.

Data security and data protection, e-mail communication

Once all the technical and organisational options have been exercised, your personal data will be saved in such a way that they are not accessible to third parties. In communication by e-mail, however, full data security cannot be guaranteed by the provider, for which reason despatch by post or courier is recommended for information that is highly confidential.

Revocation of consent – information about data stored and requests for correction – deletion and disablement of data

In accordance with the BDSG, you have a right to receive free information regarding data about yourself that are stored and, if desired, a right to have those data corrected, disabled or deleted. Your data will then duly be deleted, provided that this is not in contradiction with any statutory regulations. You may at any time revoke any permission to use your personal data that has been given to the provider. You may also send requests to receive information about your data or to have them deleted or corrected, and any ideas or suggestions you may have to the following address at any time:
